1. Do you offer consultations?

Yes! We offer 15-minute video or telephone consultations. Please submit a request!

2. What insurance do you accept?

At this time, Bravely Onward Therapy Services is working with several insurance companies, but contracts are not quite ready, as we are a new company. Some insurances will allow folks to be seen and will back date claims for 30 days, others will allow individual contracts, some will allow out-of-network, and others may not allow you to start services. Please contact us to see where we are in the process. if you have the following insurance:

3. Private Pay

$185 for a 53-minute session for individuals and couples

$75 for Emotional Support Animal letters (ESA)

$120 for gender affirming letter of support  - meets WPATH requirements

Reduced rates for private pay may be discussed, but are not always an option

4. Do you offer in-person sessions?

At this time, we are only offering secure, HIPAA-compliant video sessions through Simple Practice and when needed, telephone sessions.

6. Late Cancellation and No-Show Policies

We understand that life has a way of happening and some situations may be unavoidable and for this reason, you may be offered a one-time grace for the following policies:

Late Cancellation Policy: A fee of $120 will be applied for cancellations made without at least 48 hours' notice. Please note this fee is not covered by insurance and will be charged on the day of the scheduled session.  

No-Show Policy: A $185 fee will be applied for sessions where you do not arrive on time or arrive later than 10 minutes after the scheduled time. This is a requirement by insurance companies, and we remain dedicated to ethical and legal practices. Please note this fee is not covered by insurance and will be charged on the day of the scheduled session.

7. Good Faith Estimate Notice

Under federal law, health care providers must give clients who are uninsured or not using insurance an estimate of expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate outlining the total anticipated cost of any non-emergency healthcare services. You may request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling a service or at any point during your treatment.

If you receive a bill that is $400 or more above the amount listed in your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charge. Be sure to keep a copy or photo of your estimate for your records.

8. Billing Questions

Please speak with your therapist if you have any questions and/or your EAP or insurance company.

9. Mental Health Crisis and Resources
